Welcome. By using lyrictok you agree to the terms below. If anything's unclear, email [email protected] — we'd rather answer than be ambiguous.

What lyrictok does

lyrictok turns audio + lyrics into lyric-video MP4s. You upload an audio file and (optionally) the lyrics text. We transcribe and align it, you adjust timing and visuals, and we render an MP4 you can download. Renders cost credits, except a free 480p preview per song for registered users.

Your account

You can use the editor anonymously, but you need an account (email-verified via magic link, or Google sign-in) to download rendered files. One account per person. Don't share your sign-in link — anyone who clicks it can sign in as you until it's used. Tokens expire 30 minutes after issue and can only be used once.

What you can upload

You must own or have a license for any audio, lyrics, or imagery you upload. Don't upload:

• Copyrighted material you don't have rights to.
• Hateful, harassing, or unlawful content.
• Sexually explicit content, content depicting minors in any sexualized way, or content depicting real-world violence.
• Content that impersonates someone else.

We may remove content or accounts that violate these rules. We don't pre-screen uploads; we act on reports.

Credits + payment

• Credit packs are sold via Stripe. One credit = one HD render; 4K renders cost 2 credits each. The "all formats" options bundle three aspects in one click for 3× the credits.
• Credits don't expire.
• Credits are non-transferable and non-refundable in cash.
• If a render technically fails on our end, the credits used are refunded to your balance automatically.
• Refunds for credits you bought but haven't used: email us within 14 days of purchase and we'll refund.

What you keep

You own the content you upload AND the videos we render for you. We claim no ownership over your audio, lyrics, art, or finished videos. We do keep the right to operate the service — i.e., we can store and process your uploads as needed to render and deliver the video to you.

What we don't promise

The service is provided "as is." We work hard to keep it running and accurate, but we don't guarantee:

• Uninterrupted uptime. Our hosting providers have outages.
• That the transcription is perfectly accurate. (You can fix it in the editor.)
• That your render won't be lost in extremely bad-luck cases. Save your sources elsewhere; we are not a backup service.

Limits on liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, our total liability to you for any claim is capped at what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

Termination

You can delete your account any time — email us. We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that abuse the service (e.g., re-uploading the same song under different sessions to farm free credits).

Changes to these terms

If anything material changes, we'll update the date at the top and email account holders. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA. Disputes go to the state or federal courts in San Francisco.
